August Wishlist

Hey guys! I know, I know.. I promised a weekly blog post and I'm now 2 days late from last week's post... but again, time's really flown by. I've been arriving home after midnight almost every day this past week.. if you've been following my Instagram then you'd probably seen that I've been out-and-about almost everyday. But anyways, let's get back to the point of this post..

I am going to share with you the makeup items I've been wanting to get this month with you today.

Let's get right to business:

1) Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

I use concealer everyday. I cannot go a day without it if I am to go out and meet the world because I have horrible, horrible dark circles. I don't know if it's because of my night-owl sleeping schedule or my allergies. Or maybe both. So yeah, I NEED CONCEALER.

The color I'll need is Chantilly.

I've heard and seen too many people (mainly Youtubers) use and love it that I really want to join the bandwagon. I love my current Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer but it's got parabens in it, where as Nars' doesn't. True, Nars' also costs about 5 times more than Collection's; But since it's something that I know I'll use every single day, and it is a base makeup which will have direct contact with my skin, I think it's really worth the splurge.

I am going to get this baby. Foh sho. I'm just waiting to see if there's gonna be a 15% discount coming up soon (cheap ass!). But hey, the 15% I saved here can be used to buy another makeup item, ya know! ;)

And actually I am quite nervous to be splurging on it. I seriously hope it's as good as it's being hyped about. If anyone of you've used it before, I would really appreciate it if you'd leave a comment giving me a review about it. :)

2) Urban Decay Naked Palette

I don't think a lot of people know about this yet (although I have been meaning to make a 'Vanity Tour + Makeup Collection Tour' video, but I still haven't gotten the time), but I already own two Naked Palettes (Naked 2 and Naked 3). Both of which I did not purchase myself, a viewer of mine (สวัสดีค่ะ พี่นิ่ม ถ้าอ่านอยู่ อิอิ) gifted them to me (along with a lot more makeup items, and--omigosh--the Sigma Mrs. Bunny Brush Set). I am so very, extremely grateful for all of the things she sent me. She'd told me that Naked 1 and 2 can be a substitute for one another--if you already have the 1, you don't need the 2, and vice versa--but.. guys.. when you've got 2 out of 3 in a collection, of course you'd want to complete it. Right? Or am I the only one? Fine.

The more I look, the more I want. Gahhhh.

But anyway, point is: Me want to complete the Naked collection. The only thing keeping me from purchasing the one is the very fact that I do not put on a lot of eye makeup. I'm just more of a blush girl. So I seriously do not have a valid reason to get it (unlike my need-ish to get the Nars Concealer).

Well.. the only valid-ish reason is that the Naked 2 is really cool-toned compared to the Naked 1.. is that enough? hehehe

3) Lorac Pro Palette

This one is also just another random want. It came from the want to buy the Naked 1 stated above. I actually want another palette with a warmer tone, and this palette offers more matte shade, which I think would be a good addition to my current eye makeup collection because most, if not all, of my eyeshadows have a satin or shimmery finish. The only matte shadows I have are pretty much the handful of mattes in the Naked 2 and Naked 3 combined. Therefore, the Lorac Pro should be a better fit for my collection. But again: Me want to complete the Naked collection.

Soo pretttyyyyyy.

S.O.S. I'm in a dilemma.

4) Nyx Cosmetics Macaron Lippies

Guys, if you've read my previous post, you will know how obsessed I am with "macaron makeup" and--I don't know if you've noticed this--but I also happen to love colors.

These pretty pastels are too mouth-watering!!

And guys, look at them pretty and fun colors!!! And it's called the Macaron Lippies?! How am I supposed to not want these babies??

If these were available in Thailand, they would immediately be bought just like my macaron shadows. xD

5) Revlon Matte Lipstick in Retro Red, Fiery Sunset, Sky Pink, and Stormy Pink

This is yet another random want. It all began today, during my lunch break from teaching English, I was wandering in a mall nearby, and I naturally headed to Boots to check out Soap & Glory's makeup (because they just became available in Thailand recently). Then, I went to Watsons to check out what's up, and went to the Revlon section to check out more of their lipsticks cuz I've been really loving Revlon's Strawberry Suede #005 and Pink About It #004 this summer.

Second one from the left is Sky Pink, second one from the right is Stormy Pink, and the first one on the right is Pink About It. Strawberry Suede, Retro Red, and Fiery Sunset aren't in this photo.

Long story short: They were on sale and I'm really attracted to sales. So I went crazy swatching them lippies. (I don't know if it's okay to do this in other countries, but it's totally fine here in Bangkok--at least that's what I think.. hehe). And I found these four colors and loved them.

I didn't get them yet because I'm still waiting for a parcel to arrive. But I did ask how long the promotion is going to last until, and the staff said it's till the 20th, so I still have time *evil grin*

6) Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters in the Spring 2014 Collection

Same story as the Matte lippies above. ;)

7) More Macaron Eyeshadows!

Again with the macaron obsession. If you've read my previous post, you'd know there are a total of 15 colors and I only have 4. So.. yup.. I would like to own ALL of them.
