MELOview: รีวิว Beauty Buffet Macaron Eyeshadow Review
Hiiiiiiii! I know it's been FOREVER since my last post. But a lot has been happening in my life (if you've been following me on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, you'd know what I've been up to :P); and because I'm horrible at time management I have been MIA.
สวัสดีจ้าาาาาาา มุ้ยรู้ว่ามันนาาาาาาานมากกกแล้วที่มุ้ยไม่ได้มาอัพบล๊อก เพราะช่วงนี้มีโปรแกรมเต็มไปหมด (ถ้าติดตามกันใน ไอจี เฟส หรือทวิตเตอร์ ก็จะพอรู้ว่าช่วงนี้มุ้ยทำอะไรบ้าง อิอิ) แล้วด้วยความที่ว่ามุ้ยเป็นคนที่บริหารจัดการเวลาตัวเองได้แย่มาก มุ้ยจึงไม่มีเวลามาอัพบล๊อกๆ นี้เลย
So, to repent for my two-months absence, I hereby promise you all right now that I will be posting at least once a week.
และเพื่อเป็นการไถ่โทษที่หายไปนานถึง 2 เดือน มุ้ยจะขอให้คำมั่นสัญญาไว้ ณ ตอนนี้เลยว่า มุ้ยจะมาอัพบล๊อกอบ่างน้อยอาทิตย์ละครั้งค่ะ
And today I have a MELOview (MELOnyzz + reVIEW) of a product that I'm super duper excited about: Macaron Eyeshadows!
แล้ววันนี้มุ้ยก็มีรีวิว หรือ "เมโลวิว" (เมโลนี่ + รีวิว อิอิ) ของผลิตพันธ์ชิ้นหนึ่งที่มุ้ยตื่นเต้นมากๆๆๆๆ นั่นก็คือ อายแชโดว์ มาการอง
Yes, you read it correctly: Macaron Eyeshadows; pastel-colored eyeshadows that come in a macaron-shaped case. And, as you can see from the theme of my blog, I might be a little bit into macarons.
ใช่แล้ว เราไม่ได้ตาฝาดค่ะ มุ้ยพูดว่า อายแชโดว์ มาการอง! เป็นอายแชโดว์สีพาสเทลหวานๆ ในตลับที่มีรูปร่างหน้าตาเหมือนมาการองจริงๆ เด๊ะ แล้วทุกคนก็คงจะพอดูออกจากธีมบล๊อกมุ้ยนะค่ะ ว่ามุ้ยก็แอบชอบมาการองนิดๆ
Okay, who am I kidding, I LOVE MACARONS. And I also happen to love makeup. So guys, this is like a dream come true for me! And the brand that I have to thank for bringing my dream to life is Beauty Buffet.
โอเค ไม่นิดก็ได้ บอกเลยว่ามุ้ยชอบมาการองมว๊าาากกก แล้วเผอิญว่ามุ้ยก็ชอบเครื่องสำอางค์ด้วยสิ สิ่งๆ นี้ก็เลยเหมือนอะไรที่แบบว่า ความฝันกลายเป็นจริงสำหรับเรามาก แล้วต้องขอบคุณแบรนด์
บิวตี้บุฟเฟ่ ที่ผลิตเจ้าพวกนี้ออกมา ทำให้ฝันน้อยๆ ของหนูเป็นจริงนะคุ๊
Beauty Buffet's Macaron Eyeshadow Ad
The moment I saw this ad on Facebook, I knew I had to go check them out at the store. And that was what I did the next day. And guess what came back home with me that day. ;)
คือทันที่ที่มุ้ยเห็นรูปโฆษนาอันนี้บนเฟสรู้เลยว่าเราต้องไปลองเล่นดูที่ร้านแน่ๆ
แล้ววันต่อมามุ้ยก็ไปค่ะ แล้วทายซิว่าอะไรขอกลับบ้านมากับมุ้ยด้วย
These yummy-looking eyeshadows come in a total of 15 flavors, oops I mean, colors. And being the macaron fanatic that I am, of course I wanted to own ALL of those 15; but because I still had some sense left, I was able to stop myself at 4.
อายแชโดว์น่ากินๆ พวกนี้ มีมาทั้งหมด 15 รส เอ้ย สี ด้วยกันนะค่ะ แล้วด้วยความที่เป็นคนบ้ามาการองอยู่แล้ว ใจจริงก็อยากจะซื้อเก็บไว้ทั้งหมด 15 สีเลย แต่ยังดีที่พอมีสติอยู่ เลยหยุดตัวเองไว้ได้ที่ 4 อัน (นี่เรียกมีสติแล้ว??)
The four colors I got are (สี่สีที่ได้มาก็มี):
- #12 Pistachio - pastel minty green (สีเขียวมิ้นท์พาสเทล)
- #13 Mint - pastel baby blue (สีฟ้านมพาสเทล)
- #14 Blueberry - baby lavender (สีม่วงเผือกพาสเทล)
- #04 Peach - peach pink (สีส้มอมชมพู เหมือนลูกพีช)
All of the eyeshadows have a shimmery, almost frosty finish. They are very pigmented. They glide on smoothly. And, they are not at all powdery. Overall, I was really, really impressed by the quality of this product--which was why I got, not 1, not 2, but 4 of these babies.
ทุกสีจะเป็นชิมเม่อร์ วิ้งๆ วิ้งจะออกขาวๆ จนเหมือนหิมะ เม็ดสีชัดมาก ปาดง่ายมากก และที่สำคัญไม่ฝุ่นเลย คือปลื้มกับคุณภาพของอายแชโดว์รุ่นนี้มาก เลยจัดมา 4 อันเบย
The only downside of this product is probably its longevity. It will come right off every time you smudge it with your fingers. So, although I haven't worn them outside yet, I'm pretty sure it'll fade on its own over the course of the day.
ข้อเสียข้อเดียวของเจ้าตัวนี้คงเป็นความติดทนนานค่ะ คือเม็ดสีจะหลุดออกมาง่ายมากทุกครั้งที่ใช้นิ้วปาดมันค่ะ ถึงแม้มุ้ยจะยังไม่ได้แต่งออกไปนอกบ้านแต่ก็พอเดาได้ว่ามันจะจางหายไประหว่างวันค่ะ
But a primer helps a lot with its staying power--it was more difficult to swipe away the color when its applied over a primer. Anyhow, these macaron eyeshadows are now officially my favorite makeup items of all time. Guys, they're MACARONS, what more do I have to say?
แต่ถ้าลงไพร์เมอร์แล้วจะช่วยเรื่องความติดทนเยอะเลย เพราะด้านที่ทาทับไพร์เมอร์ปาดออกยากกว่าด้านที่ไม่ทาเยอะเลย ยังไงก็ตามนะค่ะ บอกเลยว่าอายแชโดว์มาการองพวกนี้เป็นเมคอัพไอเท็มสุดโปรดของมุ้ยเลย คือ มันเป็นมาการองอ๊ะะ จบม้ะ
And before I leave, I'd like to share with you this pastel eye makeup I came up with using only these 4 eyeshadows (and a purple eyeliner).
