First thing's first, another week's gone by already?! Gosh! Where have all the time gone these days.. sigh.. I wish there were more hours in the day.. I mean, who said there should only be 24 hours a day??!

Hmm.. now seriously, who was the one who decided that there are 24 hours a day? Hmm.. I'll have to google this later...

But if anybody knows, do enlighten me in the comments below. I am truly curious; but for now, let's get back to the topic of this post: Prestige Cosmetics is coming to Thailand!
(Prestige Cosmetics)

Some of you may be wondering..

Who is Prestige Cosmetics?

To be honest, I myself am not 100% sure either--I forgot Prestige's brand book at my boyfriend's restaurant, I'm sorry. :( But from what I heard from our exclusive meeting at the restaurant yesterday:

Prestige Cosmetics is an American cosmetics brand where they produce every single one of their products in the USA--no such thing as 'Made in China' or 'Made in PRC' from them ever. They have their own factory and they produce cosmetics for Urban Decay and a couple of other higher end American brands (that I can't recall anymore; gosh, I'm getting old!).

Prestige Cosmetics pride themselves in the quality of their superb eyeshadows. They sure do have a reason to, because yesterday, I, along with a couple of other Thai beauty Youtubers, had the opportunity to try out their eyeshadows (and a lot of their products) at an exclusive tea-party-ish meeting with the brand. Let me tell you, they were quite a thing. ;)

Unfortunately I did not take any photos at the meeting, but the brand did give each of us one goodie bag full of full-size products to bring home and test out.

Yes, it means I do have a haul for you!

This is what the goodie bag (with everything spilt out) looks like:
I got a total of 13 items! :3

I'm going to briefly talk about each of the products by category; starting off with face, eyes, then lips.

(Left to Right) Wet/Dry Foundation in 13A Bisque, Mineral Powder Foundation in 01 Fair
The two face products I got are:
  • Prestige Cosmetics Multitask Wet/Dry Foundation (in 13A Bisque)
The shade I got is the lightest in the range (it's got a total of 6 shades, and one exclusively available online). It's got no scent and the texture is smooth to an extent, but I do have to say I've tried smoother ones. They said this foundation can work as both wet and dry, which is really interesting although I have yet to try it out.
  • Prestige Skin Loving Minerals Gentle Finish Mineral Powder Foundation (in 01 Fair)
Like the Wet/Dry Foundation, this Mineral Powder Foundation also has 6 shades, and the one I got is the lightest one. Again it has not scent and the texture is okay but I wouldn't say it is finely milled. But again, I've never had any experience with mineral powder foundation, so I cannot say for sure if it should be as fine as pressed powder foundations.

What I like about this product is the packaging; As you can see, there's an extra lid that can flip open and I personally love the idea, because it seals in the loose particles. If you own a loose powder, you would totally understand what I'm saying. ;)

Moving on to eye products!

(Left to Right) Color Rush Eyeshadow in 05 The Chase, Total Wear Shadow Stick in 04 Desert Delusion, Long Term Relationship Fierce Color Eyeshadow in 09 Wicked

  • Total Intensity by Prestige Color Rush Eyeshadow (in 05 The Chase)
This is the most interesting eyeshadow I've ever tried up until now because, girl, it intensifies, instead of fading, as you keep on rubbing! I'm pretty sure they were explaining the technology behind this 'magic' but the meeting was in a restaurant and the table was long so I couldn't hear why. But oh well, I just know for sure that it's amazing. Cannot wait to try this baby on my eyes!
  • Total Intensity by Prestige Total Wear Shadow Stick (in 04 Desert Delusion)
This is my favorite eye product from this brand! It applies smoothly and the pigmentation is seriously superb; the swatch in the picture is only one swipe and it glides on really smoothly. Another item I can't wait to try!
  • Total Intensity by Prestige Long Term Relationship Fierce Color Eyeshadow (in 09 Wicked)
Again, great pigmentation and smooth application.

(Left to Right) Against All Odds Liquid Ink Eyeliner in 03 All Nighter, Eyeliner in 10 Black, Waterproof Automatic Eyeliner in 21 Trance
  • Total Intensity by Prestige Against All Odds Liquid Ink Eyeliner (in 03 All Nighter)
All Nighter is a cobalt blue liquid liner. The consistency is quite watery so it takes a few seconds to dry. I cannot report its lasting power because I haven't tried it yet.
  • Prestige Eyeliner (in 10 Black)
Black is your typical black pencil eyeliner. I wouldn't say it's really smooth or creamy or anything because it's your typical black pencil liner. The pigmentation is okay and doesn't tug on the skin on the back of my hand. Again, I didn't a smudge test so I do not know if it's smudge-proof, for now.
  • Prestige Waterproof Automatic Eyeliner (in 21 Trance)
Trance is a greyish navy blue. Really creamy and good pigmentation. My favorite out of all the 3 liners because it is an automatic pencil, which means I do not have to sharpen it.

BrowPerfection Brow Building System in Light/Medium
  • Prestige BrowPerfection Brow Building System (in Light/Medium)
This last product is a dual-ended brow mascara. One end is a transparent setting gel, while the other is a tinted mascara. Have not tried either ends yet.

(Left to Right) Lasting Moisture Lip Gloss in 05 Cozy Plum, Total Wear Lip Crayon in 06 U Red My Mind and 02 Girl On Fire, Lipliner in 91 Cameo

  • Prestige Skin Loving Minerals Lasting Moisture Lip Gloss (in 05 Cozy Plum)
Cozy Plum is the perfect name for this color because it is a warm mauve-ish plum color with no shimmer in it. The pigmentation is really nice. I have yet to try this on my lips but I am very excited to try this because it is my first plum lip gloss and it is a mineral formula too.
  • Total Intensity by Prestige Total Wear Lip Crayon (in 06 U Red My Mind)
U Red My Mind is a a bright blue-toned red. Again, the pigmentation is great. I love how it applies really smoothly. Another plus is it's in a pencil form which I find very easy to apply.

  • Total Intensity by Prestige Total Wear Lip Crayon (in 02 Girl On Fire)
  • Girl On Fire is a bright orangey coral color which is purrrfect for summer. It's bright, young, and fun. Same consistency and smoothness as U Red My Mind.

  • Prestige Lipliner (in 91 Cameo)
  • Cameo is a nude beige color. It applies smoothly but I have yet to try if it is drying on the lips. I think I'm going to line my lips with this and go over with Cozy Plum.

Okay, that's everything I got from the Prestige Cosmetics

As you can see, I have yet to try all of these products. I will come back with another more in-depth review of these lovely products after I have tested them out, so stay tuned!

I would like to give a huge shout-out to and thank p' Sally for inviting me to this exclusive tea party with the brand. In addition to meeting with Prestige Cosmetics, we also met with a representative from Lashes Thailand--a cosmetics shop in Thailand. And Lashes also gave each of us a goodie bag..

So, I have you one more little haul from Lashes, girlies

(Top) Lashes Paper Bag, (Bottom) Complimentary goodies
The four items I got from Lashes are: a pair of falsies, an upper back patch, a shoulder patch, and a korean brand mineral mist.
I am particularly excited to try the shoulder patch because I do get sunburned easily--and I actually have sunburn on my shoulder from filming a video at Hua Hin Hills Vineyard months ago. I'm also excited to try the mist, because who doesn't love a good mist when you're living in a city whose daily temperature ranges from 28-32 degrees Celsius? ;)

Prestige Cosmetics will be coming to Thailand in October and will be exclusively available at Lashes for 3 months

and then it will be available in Boots and Watsons country-wide at the beginning of 2015. The price will be about 1.5 times more than the price on the Prestige Cosmetics website.

I would love to visit the brand's counters at Lashes in October, however I'm afraid I won't be able to because I'll be going back to Hong Kong for work (will tell you more about this later). For now, I would like to take my leave and say adieu to you all. There's so much to do with so little time.

Thank you so much for reading! I'll talk to you all again very, very soon. Buh-bye! ;)
