Chill guys, I just wanted to greet you in my mother tongue, that's all.
And yes, that is how you say "Hi everyone!" in Cantonese.

Anyway, following from the previous post, I am now back in my hometown, Hong Kong.
But no, I'm not going to be talking about Hong Kong, or anything related to the city
or my life here today. Yet.
ก็ อัพเดทจากโพสท์ที่แล้วนะคะ ตอนนี้มุ้ยก็กลับมาถึงฮ่องกงแล้วเน้อ
แต่วันนี้มุ้ยจะยังไม่มาเม้าท์มอยอะไรเกี่ยวกับฮ่องกง หรืออัพเดทชีวิตที่นี่นะ
Instead, I'll be sharing something more interesting than me moving away, and that's
online shopping.
แต่วันนี้เราจะมาพูดถึงอะไรที่น่าสนใจกว่าการที่มุ้ยย้ายจากกรุงเทพฯ นะคะ
นั่นก็คือ การช็อปออนไลน์
I did my pre-HK online shopping at Zalora.com and because I was in Thailand at the moment, I was browsing in the Zalora Thailand site.
ก่อนมาฮ่องกงเนี่ย มุ้ยไปช็อป เอ๊ะ ไม่ใช่สิ นั่งช็อปหน้าคอม จากเว็ป ซาลอร่า (Zalora Thailand) มาค่ะ

Allow me to skip the browsing part and jump right to the checking-out part,
because I know you girls (and guys) know how to do all that by heart already. ;)
Besides, the website is very user-friendly--products are categorised, options for sorting and filtering are available, and product descriptions and pictures are very clear.

Ordering on the website was a breeze. The process was very simple and easy to follow.
And if you didn't notice, I'm going to point out to you that
aside from the quick and free shipping*, they also have a pay-on-delivery option.

Great job, Zalora Thailand! You handled 2 of the biggest worries
people have about online shopping: wait time and payment.

รอสินค้านาน และ การชำระเงิน ได้อย่างดีเยี่ยม
But wait, don't get overexcited, my friend, as much I love the service on-screen,
you could still improve a bit in the implementation...
หน่ะๆ อย่าเพิ่งลอย เพราะมุ้ยก็มีข้อติบ้างล่ะ..
I placed my order on Friday, September 19
and a member of the Zalora Fleet gave me a call on Monday, September 22.
The timing is very impressive, right?
มุ้ยทำการสั่งซื้อสินค้าตอนวันศุกร์ที่ 19 ก.ย.
แล้วทีมส่งของของ Zalora ก็โทรมาตอนวันจันทร์ ที่ 22 ก.ย. ค่ะ
เร็วเนอะๆ (เพราะวันเสาร์-อาทิตย์นี่ไม่ใช่วันทำการ)
But here's the problem: I was in the bathroom when the guy called.
แต่ปัญหามันอยู่ตรงนี้ค่ะ : มุ้ยอยู่ในห้องน้ำตอนเค้าโทรมา
What happened, you ask? The Zalora delivery guy left.
When I called back (to a number that I do not even recognise about 15 minutes later),
he'd simply told me he'd already left
and he'll come back again the next day and he'll give me a call again.
แล้วเกิดอะไรขึ้นต่ออ่ะ? คนส่งก็กลับไปค่ะ
ตอนมุ้ยโทรกลับ (ไปหาเบอร์ที่ไม่รู้จักด้วยซ้ำ ประมาณ 15 นาทีต่อมา)
เค้าก็รับสายแล้วบอกว่า ผมออกมาแล้วอ่ะครับพี่
เดี๋ยวพรุ่งนี้เช้าผมโทรหาพี่อีกที
Let me tell you how not impressed I was.
Zalora, did you seriously expect your customer to be waiting for a call from your 'fleet'?
And the fleet was asking for directions to where I live? Another big red X from me.
โอเคอ่ะ บอกเลยว่าไม่ปลื้มอย่างแรง
คือ ลูกค้าต้องคอยรอรับโทรศัพย์จากเมสเซ็นเจอร์ตลอดเวลาหรอ
แล้วทางเมสเซ็นเจอร์ยังมีการถามทางมาที่บ้านอีก ขอหักอีกคะแนนค่ะ
I'm not blaming the guy for leaving because I hadn't pick up my phone;
I understand he must have had elsewhere to deliver to.
But a little heads-up would be nice, you know.
Like an email mentioning the date and estimate time of arrival or something.
เข้าใจว่าพอไม่รับสายก็กลับ เพราะคงต้องไปส่งของที่อื่นต่ออะไรอย่างนี้
แต่ถ้าบอกกันก่อนสักนิดว่าจะมีการโทรมาวันไหน ช่วงเวลาประมาณไหน ก็คงจะได้รับสาย
ส่งมาในเมล์ตอนแจ้งว่าของส่งออกมาแล้ว หรือเขียนบนเว็ปก็ได้เน้อ
And about the address part? Mention it on the website that you need specific directions to our homes, because your form totally implies that orders were going to be delivered by mail.
เรื่องโทรถามทางก็อีกอย่างค่ะ ช่องที่ให้เรากรอกที่อยู่บนเว็ปมันเหมือนกับว่าจะส่งไปรษณีย์
อยากให้เขียนบอกไว้สักนิดว่าให้บอกทางไปบ้านด้วยอะไรประมาณนี้อ่ะค่ะ
If you couldn't tell, I was very upset and unimpressed that day.
But when I got my things the next day, I was impressed again.
ก็อยากย้ำอีกทีว่าวันนั้นไม่ปลื้มและเซ็งอย่างแรง
แต่พอได้รับของวันต่อมาก็กลับมาปลื้มอีกทีนะ 555
The package was nicely sealed and all the documents
needed to return the product(s) were included in the package.
Again, the return form was very easy to understand and easy to fill in;
pretty much all you have to do is tick a few boxes in the form,
put your item in the bag provided, bring it to the 7-11 closest to your house. Simple right?
Also, they popped in a measuring tape and shoe-size-measuring-thingy for your next order!

แล้วมีการแถม เทปวัดตัว กับ กระดาษวัดไซส์รองเท้า ให้เราสั่งของได้ง่ายขึ้นในรอบต่อไปด้วย
Anyway, enough with the blabbering about ordering, let's get to the goodies...
พอกับเรื่องการสั่งของแล้วมาดูของที่ได้มาดีกว่า..
I got a black-and-white checker dress by Something Borrowed
and a pair of 2-tone sandals by Ezra.
มุ้ยได้ชุดเดรส ขาวดำ ของแบรนด์ Something Borrowed
แล้วก็รองเท้า ขาวดำ จากแบรนด์ Ezra มาค่ะ
Unfortunately, the dress was too big for me, so I will not be styling it today. :(
But it's okay, I still have this pair of black-and-white sandalisas
แต่เสียดายตัวชุดเดรสมันใหญ่ไป มุ้ยเลยไม่ได้เอามาแต่งนะคะ
แต่ไม่ต้องห่วง เรายังมีรองเท้าอยู่
Outfit #1 - Rock-a-Bye Sandals
Outfit #2 - Red, White, and Black
Outfit #3 - Simply Black & White
All these 3 outfits are totally different, but all of them goes well with same pair of shoes.
ชุดทั้ง 3 แต่งออกมาแล้วได้อารมณ์คนละแบบเลย แต่ใส่กับรองเท้าคู่เดิมได้หมด
What makes this pair of two-tone sandals super easy to pair with is that its got 2 very basic primary colours--black and white. All you have to do is make sure there's either a black or white (or both) in your top/bottom/dress and you'll be good to go.
สาเหตุที่รองเท้าแตะทูโทนคู่นี้สามารถใส่ง่ายกับหลายชุดเพราะมันมีสีเด่นๆ ที่เบสิคมากอยู่สองสี
ดำ กับ ขาว ซึ่งเคล็ดไม่ลับก็คือ ถ้าอยากใส่คู่นี้ก็แค่เมคชัวร์ว่าในชุดที่ใส่อยู่มีสีขาว ไม่ก็ดำ
(ไม่ก็ทั้งสองสีเลยก็ได้นะ) ก็โอเคล้ะ
Another thing I like about this pair of sandals is that it's perfect for casual wear
(with denim shorts and a white top--in Outfit #1) because they're.. well.. they're sandals!
But it also complements dressier outfits (like in Outfits #2 and #3)
because it's made of shiny, synthetic patent leather.
อีกอย่างนึงที่ชอบเกี่ยวกับรองเท้าคู่นี้ก็คือมันใส่ง่าย เหมาะกับวันที่แต่งตัวชิวๆ
(แบบใส่เสื้อยืดเกงขาสั้น เหมือนในชุด #1) เพราะว่ามันเป็นแตะอ่ะเนอะ
แต่ถ้าบางวันอยากแต่งเยอะขึ้นมาอีกหน่อย (เหมือนในชุดที่ #2 กับ #3) ก็ยังใส่ได้
เพราะมันเป็นหนังแก้วไง เลยไม่ดูชิวมาก

Replyomg, i just saw this comment! and yes they aree. the website's got loads of cute stuff on there, you should check them out sometimes (but beware, your wallet might feel little empty afterwards ;P)
